Class 7 English Honeycomb Lesson 5 – Quality (Summary, Q&A, Solutions)

Lesson 5 – Quality (John Galsworthy)

Summary

English: The story “Quality” by John Galsworthy is about Mr. Gessler, a German shoemaker in London. He and his brother made excellent, long-lasting boots. They believed in quality, not in advertisements. But with the rise of large firms, their small business declined. People preferred cheap and flashy shoes. Mr. Gessler died in poverty, but his dedication to quality remains unforgettable.
