Name of the Scheme	Aapki Beti Yojana
Brief introduction of the scheme	Under the scheme, first priority girls studying in classes 1 to 12 in government schools, who belong to families living below the poverty line, and whose parents have either or both passed away, are benefited from class 1. Financial assistance of Rs 1100 per year is provided to eligible girls studying in class 8 and Rs 1500 per year to those studying in classes 9 to 12.

Eligibility	First priority is given to girls studying in classes 1 to 12 in government schools, who belong to families living below the poverty line, and whose parents, both or one, have died.
How to Apply for Aapki Beti Yojana Form	Application to the Controller District Education Officer (Elementary/Secondary) through the head of the institution.
To whom should the application be made?	To the concerned District Education Officer through the head of the institution.
Documents with Application	BPL Card Number
Formalities	Death certificate of one or both the parents. Two photographs of the student, certificate of regular study and mark sheet of previous class.
Competent officer to submit complaint	Public Deprivation Redressal Department of the concerned district.
Contact person	District Education Officer (Elementary/Secondary) of the concerned district and Deputy Secretary, Girls Education Foundation, Jhalana Dungri, Jaipur.

योजना का संक्षिप्त परिचय	योजनान्तर्गत राजकीय विद्यालयों में कक्षा 1 से 12 में अध्ययनरत प्रथम वरीयता में आने वाली बालिकाएँ जो कि गरीबी रेखा से नीचे जीवनयापन करने वाले परिवारों की हैं, तथा जिनके माता-पिता दोनों अथवा एक का निधन हो गया हो को लाभान्वित किया जाता है कक्षा 1 से 8 में ऐसी पात्र अध्ययनरत बालिकाओं को 1100 रुपये प्रतिवर्ष एवं कक्षा 9 से 12 में अध्ययनरत को 1500 रुपये प्रतिवर्ष आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान की जाती है।
प्रारम्भ होने का वर्ष	2004-05
पात्रता	राजकीय विद्यालयों में कक्षा 1 से 12 में अध्ययनरत प्रथम वरीयता में आने वाली बालिकाएँ जो कि गरीबी रेखा से नीचे जीवनयापन करने वाले परिवारों की हैं, तथा जिनके माता-पिता दोनों अथवा एक का निधन हो गया है।
आवेदन का तरीका	संस्था प्रधान के माध्यम से नियंत्रक जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी (प्रारम्भिक/ माध्यमिक) को आवेदन।
आवेदन किसे किया जावे	संस्था प्रधान के माध्यम से संबंधित जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी को।
आवेदन के साथ	बी.पी.एल. कार्ड नम्बर।
औपचारिकताएं	माता-पिता दोनों अथवा एक के निधन का प्रमाण पत्र। नियमित अध्ययनरत प्रमाण पत्र एवं पूर्व कक्षा की अंकतालिका छात्रा के दो फोटो।
शिकायत प्रस्तुत करने हेतु सक्षम अधिकारी	संबंधित जिले का जन अभाव अभियोग निराकरण विभाग।
