Rules (Articles):

  • a – consonant sound से पहले (a pen, a house).
  • an – vowel sound से पहले (an apple, an honest man).
  • the – किसी particular / unique चीज़ के लिए (the sun, the Taj Mahal, the Ganga).
  • Uncountable noun (juice, milk etc.) जब general हो, तो अक्सर कोई article नहीं लगता।

  • over – ऊपर से एक तरफ से दूसरी तरफ (over the fence).

    Example: She has to help her mother. → उसे माँ की मदद करनी पड़ती है।
  • had to – past में सभी subjects (करना पड़ा)।
    Example: I had to go to the doctor yesterday. → मुझे कल डॉक्टर के पास जाना पड़ा।

Trick: आज / रोज़ / अभी की बात हो → have to / has to
