Once upon a time, a hungry fox 🦊 was walking in a forest 🌳 in search of food. After some time, he saw a crow 🐦 sitting on a tree. The crow had a piece of bread in her beak. The fox wanted to eat it.

The fox made a clever plan 💡. He praised the crow and said, “Dear crow! You look so beautiful 😍. I’m sure your voice is very sweet 🎶. Please sing a song for me.”

The crow became proud 😌 and opened her beak to sing “Caw! Caw!” The bread fell down 🍞. The fox quickly picked it and ran away laughing 😆.

The crow understood that the fox had fooled her with false praise.

एक लोमड़ी 🦊 बहुत भूखी थी। उसने एक कौआ 🐦 को पेड़ पर बैठा देखा जिसकी चोंच में रोटी थी।

लोमड़ी ने कहा — “प्रिय कौए! तुम बहुत सुंदर हो 😍। तुम्हारी आवाज़ भी बहुत प्यारी होगी 🎤। मेरे लिए गाना गाओ।”

कौआ चापलूसी में आकर चोंच खोल देता है। रोटी गिर जाती है 🍞। लोमड़ी रोटी उठाकर भाग जाती है 😆।

कौआ समझ जाता है कि प्रशंसा के चक्कर में उसका नुकसान हो गया।

“The Fox and the Crow” is a short moral story about a proud crow and a clever fox. One day, a crow finds a piece of bread and sits on the branch of a tree to eat it in peace. A hungry fox, passing under the tree, notices the bread in the crow’s beak and decides to get it by using a trick.

The fox cannot climb the tree, so he starts praising the crow. He calls her beautiful and says that her voice must be very sweet. The crow becomes proud and wants to show her voice. As soon as she opens her beak to caw, the bread falls down. The fox quickly picks up the bread and eats it.

The crow then realizes that she has been fooled because of her vanity. She learns that one should not trust a flatterer and that pride always leads to loss.

“लोमड़ी और कौआ” एक प्रसिद्ध नैतिक कहानी है। एक दिन एक कौआ कहीं से रोटी का टुकड़ा उठा लाता है और उसे आराम से खाने के लिए पेड़ की डाल पर बैठ जाता है। तभी एक भूखी लोमड़ी वहाँ से गुजरती है और कौए की चोंच में रोटी देख लेती है। वह रोटी खुद खाना चाहती है, लेकिन पेड़ पर चढ़ नहीं सकती, इसलिए वह एक चालाक योजना बनाती है।

लोमड़ी कौए की प्रशंसा करने लगती है। वह कहती है कि तुम बहुत सुंदर हो और तुम्हारी आवाज़ भी ज़रूर बहुत मधुर होगी। कौआ घमंड में आकर अपनी आवाज़ सुनाने के लिए “काँव-काँव” करने के लिए चोंच खोल देता है। जैसे ही वह चोंच खोलता है, रोटी नीचे गिर जाती है और लोमड़ी तुरंत उसे उठा कर खा जाती है।

अब कौए को समझ आता है कि वह चापलूसी के चक्कर में धोखा खा गया। उसे पता चलता है कि चापलूस व्यक्ति पर कभी भरोसा नहीं करना चाहिए और घमंड हमेशा नुकसान की ही ओर ले जाता है।
