NLC Apprentice Recruitment Qualification
- For Trade Apprentice: Candidates Should Pass in ITI examinations (NCVT) of the respective trade from a government recognized Institute.
- Technician (Diploma Holders) Apprentice: Candidates Should Possess Full Time Diploma in Engineering or Technology from a recognized Institution, State Council or Board of Technical education.
- Graduate (Engineering) Apprentices: Candidates Should Possess Full Time Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university in relevant discipline.
- Graduate (Non-Engineering) Apprentice: Candidates Should Possess Full Time B.com or BBA Degree from a recognized university.

- Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
- Maximum Age Limit: 35 Years
- Candidates should have passed the qualifying exam in the years 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 or 2024.

NLC Apprentice Recruitment Short Notification
NLC Apprentice Recruitment Method of Selection:
Selection will be based on percentage/total marks scored by the candidates in concerned qualifying examination (ITI / Diploma / B. E / B.Tech / B.Com / B.B.A) or its equivalent of respective trade/discipline, as the case may be.
- 6.1 For Trade Apprentices; selection will be based on percentage of mark scored by the candidates in all the subjects in ITI examinations (NCVT) of the respective trade.
- 6.2 For Diploma/Technician Apprentices; selection will be based on percentage of marks scored in Diploma of relevant discipline.
- 6.3 For Graduate (Engineering) Apprentices; selection will be based on percentage of marks scored in BE/B.Tech of relevant discipline.
- 6.4 For Graduate (Non-Engineering) Apprentices; selection will be based on percentage of marks scored in qualifying Degree. Percentage of marks scored in all the semesters by the candidates in the respective degree i.e., B. Com / B.B.A Degree.
- 6.5 The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree as awarded in the final qualifying examinations

In case the candidate is awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the percentage of marks will be based on the procedure followed by the University /Institution from where he/she has obtained the Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree. - 6.6 In the absence of any established scheme in the University/Institution for calculation of percentage of marks, the following principles will apply.
- 6.6.1 In case the candidate is awarded Grades/CGPA, then the equivalence in percentage of marks will be established by
multiplying the Grade/CGPA by a factor of 10. - 6.6.2 In case the candidate is awarded marks semester wise, then the equivalence in percentage of marks will be established by taking the average of percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in all semesters from II year to final year, considering the semester wise average.
